Senior Business Travel Manager (m/f/d)
HOW YOU MOVE OUR WORLD
- Management of the Business Travel Manager team
- You handle travel inquiries independently and take care of the entire booking process.
- All aspects of the business trip - flights, train, hotel, rental car or cab - are professionally organized by you.
- Issuing tickets, including rebookings and refunds, is also part of your daily routine.
- You present individual travel options after carefully researching and comparing prices and services - from low-cost to round-the-world trips.
- You take into account all relevant customer data, ensure compliance with travel guidelines and provide information on necessary visas.
- You reliably process emails and inquiries within the agreed service times (SLA).
- You also keep track of more complex projects - such as group bookings or multi-stage travel plans.
- If necessary, you actively offer sensible alternatives that also meet customer requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Leadership skills and personal responsibility - you take responsibility, act with foresight and handle stressful situations with confidence, even when the workload is high.
- Sound experience with a GDS (e.g. Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) is a must - ideally you have knowledge of several systems and are currently actively working with them (at least 4 years of professional experience).
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs - you use modern tools confidently in day-to-day business.
- Strong geographical knowledge and very good product knowledge of airlines and worldwide destinations.
- Organizational skills, strong communication skills and a pronounced customer orientation characterize you.
- You like to think "outside the box" and find creative, individual solutions for a wide range of travel needs.
- Your heart beats for the travel industry - you love to inspire people and offer first-class service.
- You keep an eye on world events and understand the impact of current events on travel planning.
- Punctuality and reliability are a matter of course for you.
- You are fluent in English - other languages such as German, Italian or Spanish are a plus.
