Your challenge
As an employee in flight purchasing (m/f/d) you will support the route and contingent planning of flight capacities and ensure the availability of seat contingents.
Your daily business
- Evaluate internal price comparisons and negotiate special conditions with the airlines
- Creating and maintaining flight data in the WBS Blank tourism system
- Planning and purchasing of seats for the assigned destinations
- Regular utilization control of the purchased seats
- Economical rebooking and processing of cancelations/rerouting by the airlines
- Analyzing and adjusting flight subsidies and levying flight surcharges and discounts
- Preparation of statistics and evaluations, e.g. capacity overviews
- Monitoring and evaluation of existing target agreements (e.g. volume deals, early bookings, advance payments)
- Create volume planning per season in conjunction with the management
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a travel or aviation agent or other tourism training
- Professional experience in flight scheduling and flight control, preferably with a tour operator, travel agency or airline
- Structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong organizational skills and initiative
- An affinity for numbers and an analytical mindset
- High degree of responsibility and reliability
