The tourism organizations in Carinthia (Kärnten Werbung and tourism regions) offer a range of services and measures to support tourism businesses in their work. These offers should be continuously developed and the support of the businesses by the individual tourism organizations should be well coordinated. The position includes the nationwide coordination and further development of services for tourism businesses. The aim is to create a clear and uniform structure for all business-related activities. The aim is to systematically record the needs of businesses and define and implement specific support services. The function acts as a central interface between the businesses (accommodation providers, excursion destinations, etc.), the tourism regions and Kärnten Werbung.
Your tasks:
1. Central coordination of all business-related activities of Kärnten Werbung
- Establishment of a uniform structure for addressing and supporting businesses by the tourism organizations
- Active partner management
- Systematic identification of challenges and development needs for tourism businesses and derivation of concrete support services
2. Coordination of support for more than 600 defined Carinthian quality businesses (Q+ program)
- Ensuring uniform quality standards in the support provided by the 9 tourism coaches in the regions
- Coordination of the implementation of measures to improve quality in the businesses
- Further development of the support services in close cooperation with the tourism coaches
3. Ensuring demand-oriented programs and offers
- reviewing new and existing initiatives for their relevance to tourism businesses
- Obtaining structured feedback from businesses
- Recommending adjustments to the content, target group and design of services
- Documenting the use of the services for businesses
4. Development of a nationwide overview of businesses
- Transparent overview of all current services and measures for businesses
- Structured recording of all company interactions in the CRM system
- Analysis and categorization of which types of businesses benefit from which offers
What you bring with you:
- A very good understanding of the work and challenges of tourism businesses
- Enjoy direct contact with people, communication skills
- Strategic thinking and an overview of the interrelationships in tourism
- Structured, reliable and assertive way of working
- Experience in working with quality and development processes
- Willingness to travel within Carinthia
- Confident handling of CRM systems and evaluation of operating data
