Help shape the future - in this area

For the organization and support of our training and competition trips, we are looking for an employee in travel management / in the events and travel department (m/f/d).
In this position, you will look after our travel participants, coordinate bookings, maintain travel data in the online travel portal and ensure that everything runs smoothly - from planning to invoicing.

The job combines participant support, travel organization, commercial processing and project work.

Participant support & communication

  • Correspondence and advice for travel participants by telephone and e-mail
  • Processing special and rebooking requests
  • Service-oriented communication for questions about the travel process and travel documents

Participant & booking management

  • Independent participant management for training and competition trips
  • (bookings, changes and maintenance in the booking system)
  • Planning and creating travel dates and hotel allotments in the online travel portal
  • Checking and adjusting flight/hotel allotments during the year

Travel organization & content

  • Designing the content of travel information and travel documents
  • Correspondence with hotels and service providers in German and English

Accounting & administration

  • Invoice verification
  • Invoicing the travel participants
  • Maintenance and control of billing-relevant travel data

Processes & projects

  • Helping to shape and support the further development of internal processes
  • Project work, e.g. as part of the further development of the internal travel portal

Strengths that we build on

Commercial or tourism background
Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tourism agent, travel agent, in the hotel industry, office management or in event organization.

Experience in travel management & participant service

  • Professional experience in travel management, participant management, back office or customer service
  • Confident handling of booking and administration systems

Strong service and customer orientation

  • High quality awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and implement them professionally
  • Friendly, solution-oriented demeanor, even in stressful situations

Language & communication skills

  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good knowledge of English for correspondence with hotels and service providers
  • Friendly, service-oriented communication by phone and e-mail

Structured & careful way of working

  • High degree of organizational strength and reliability
  • Careful handling of bookings, changes and invoicing
  • Independent, structured way of working

Process & digital affinity

  • Interest in the further development of internal processes
  • Openness to digital tools, portals and system optimizations
  • Willingness to actively participate in project work (e.g. further development of the travel portal)
