As a Product Manager (m/f/d) – specializing in package tours and cruises at Reisen Aktuell GmbH – you’ll actively manage and develop our tourism product portfolio in these travel segments. You’ll combine data-driven analysis with a keen understanding of target audiences and markets, ensuring that our offerings are optimally promoted through print and online media. In doing so, you’ll keep a close eye on the performance of your products at all times and continuously refine them. With us, you’ll play an active role in deciding which travel offers are marketed, when, and how—and you’ll see the direct impact of your decisions on the success of our products.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, managing, and further developing travel products in the areas of package tours and/or cruises across print and online distribution channels—taking into account target audiences, profitability, and performance
- Analyzing booking trends, availability, and market and booking trends; making informed decisions regarding product deployment, timing, and distribution channels based on relevant market and target audience analyses
- Identifying potential within the product areas and continuously developing existing offerings and destinations in close collaboration with purchasing, marketing, and other departments
- Active participation in optimizing the product portfolio by deriving well-founded insights from marketing and performance
- Cross-functional collaboration to ensure a coordinated product and marketing strategy
- Managing products based on relevant KPIs while taking budgets and revenue targets into account
Your Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in tourism, business, or marketing, or equivalent training
- At least two years of professional experience, ideally in the tourism industry and/or product management
- Initial experience in the field of package tours and/or cruises is a plus
- Experience in managing and developing products or portfolios
- Strong analytical skills and a very good grasp of numbers; proficiency with Excel and data-driven analysis
- Business acumen, a good understanding of KPIs, and a knack for performance management
- A structured, self-directed work style and the ability to proactively drive initiatives forward
- Strong communication skills and a passion for cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent written and spoken German
