Are you a tourism specialist, travel agent, or travel consultant (m/f/d) who loves helping people plan the best time of their year? Then join our team in Leipzig.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Drawing on your passion for travel, you’ll provide personalized advice to our customers and find the right vacation packages to meet their needs.
- Arranging package tours, custom trips, and modular itineraries from well-known tour operators, as well as our own travel products, is part of your daily routine.
- Through your strong service orientation and expertise, you’ll create unforgettable customer experiences and build long-term customer relationships.
- From the initial consultation to the completed booking, you’ll guide our customers professionally and reliably.
- You’ll independently plan and implement creative marketing and sales initiatives for our travel agency.
- You actively incorporate current travel trends and your knowledge of destination areas into your customer consultations.
Here’s what you should bring to the table:
- A completed apprenticeship as a tourism business administrator, travel agent, or a comparable qualification in the tourism industry.
- Several years of professional experience in a travel agency or in tourism consulting, as well as in-depth knowledge of destination areas.
- A passion for sales and for inspiring customers to plan their next trip.
- A strong service and customer-oriented mindset combined with excellent communication skills and a confident demeanor.
- Working independently, in a structured manner, and with a focus on closing deals comes naturally to you.
- Experience working with tourism booking and distribution systems such as Sabre/Merlin, Jack+, Bistro, or comparable applications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong written and spoken English skills.
- Ideally, you also have knowledge of BLANK.
