This is the job:
For a new company in our group, we are looking for you to set up an internal travel department with immediate effect. In close coordination with the project management of our productions, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of the travel activities of the artists and crews and will have these tasks, among others:
- Planning and booking the arrival and departure of our mostly international productions (primarily flights)</li
- Ensuring smooth transfers between the tour/guest venues (group bookings for flights, trains, buses)
- Booking hotel accommodation during the tours/guest performances
- Coordinating requirements and details with the productions
- Managing and controlling budgets
- Negotiating annual/framework agreements with airlines and hotels (large contingents)
- Coordination with the sponsoring department to realize cost savings
- Travel bookings for internal employees
This is you:
You can only inspire if you are enthusiastic! So if you have a deep passion for live entertainment, are highly organized and a good communicator, then you’ll fit right in with us. Do you also have a knack for complex planning, do you keep a cool head even when things get heated and are you focused on the success of the team? Then we definitely belong together! We would also like to see:
- A completed degree and/or training in the field of tourism/travel
- Experience in booking travel/accommodation in show business
- Experience in dealing with production companies and artists
- A very good understanding of numbers
- Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages advantageous
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Amadeus knowledge
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends in the event of logistical problems
