What it's all about

  • Personal proactive sales of leading trade media brands (e.g. Lebensmittel Zeitung, TextilWirtschaft) with the aim of marketing digital access in the form of multi-user licenses and other products and services to major customers in trade and industry.
  • Identifying sales potential with existing customers as well as acquiring new customers
  • Making contact in person, by telephone or by e-mail and with CRM support
  • Independent conception of customer-specific offers and their presentation
  • Collaboration on new offers, pricing and all projects for the further development of this area
  • Occasional presence at national trade fairs and events
  • Market and competitor monitoring

What sets you apart

  • First professional experience in sales - ideally in media
  • Completed university degree
  • Strong affinity for new communication technologies
  • Confident manner, high level of persuasiveness, good presentation and communication skills,
  • Sales talent, in person and on the phone
  • Structured, meticulous way of working and analytical thinking skills
    Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Industry knowledge of consumer goods and retail is an advantage, but not a must
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), experience with Salesforce an advantage
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
