As a Sales Manager in the Aviation division, you will play a key role in the strategic business development and expansion of our sales portfolio. You will be responsible for implementing our sales strategies and strengthening long-term relationships with our partners in the Austrian market. Your work will make a significant contribution to increasing the market presence of our customer portfolio in line with current market trends and developments.
Your area of responsibility:
- Planning and implementation of sales strategies and trade marketing activities to increase market presence and target achievement for our customer portfolio
- Negotiating and concluding contracts with sales partners in cooperation with senior management
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients and acquiring new business partners
- Product presentations, participation in industry events and meetings as well as fam trips (information trips)
- Analysis of internal and external market data to optimize our sales strategies and preparation of customer reports
- Close cooperation with the Aviation team (Sales Executives and Sales Support) to ensure uniform standards and to make optimum use of synergies
- Collaboration with the international teams of our customer portfolio and coordination with internal departments
Your profile:
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, ideally in the travel or aviation sector
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, tourism or a related field, Master’s degree is an advantage
- Expertise in strategic sales and trade marketing as well as sound knowledge of stakeholder management
- Confident handling of market analyses and reporting
- Good understanding of the aviation industry and relevant market trends
- Business fluent in German and English, other languages are an advantage
- Structured and results-oriented way of working, skills in dealing with multinational business partners, high flexibility and good team spirit

- The collective agreement for travel agencies applies to the advertised position, the minimum monthly basic salary is
- EUR 2,447 gross per month with expected overpayment according to the collective agreement, additional benefits and variable salary components.
