The Frankfurt Convention Bureau is a department of Tourismus+Congress GmbH Frankfurt am Main, a municipal organization that markets Frankfurt in the tourism and congress segments. The Frankfurt Convention Bureau promotes the image of Frankfurt as a congress location and advises and supports event organizers in the planning of conferences, congresses, meetings and incentives.

What you can expect:

  • Image promotion for the city of Frankfurt am Main as a congress and incentive location
  • Organization and implementation of analogue and digital sales promotion measures for the MICE sector
  • Support for international markets with a focus on the UK market
  • Advice and support for congress and incentive organizers and multipliers
  • Participation in international trade fairs and workshops as well as their independent preparation and follow-up
  • Acquisition of congresses and conferences
  • Contact person for international associations and PCOs
  • Processing of congress applications

What you bring with you:

  • Experience (at least 3 years) in sales & marketing in the MICE industry
  • Degree in tourism, marketing, event management or comparable qualification
  • An affinity for travel
  • Above-average commitment, teamwork and interaction skills
  • Organizational talent and initiative
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working, analytical thinking as well as consulting and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office programs and common social media platforms
