Your tasks:
- Acquiring new sales channels and maintaining and expanding existing cooperations
- Intensifying cooperation with the head offices of the chains & cooperations, with travel agencies and tour operators as well as wholesale partners and OTAs
- Increasing b2b market penetration in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, building on the high brand awareness and top customer satisfaction ratings
- Contract negotiations and development of marketing or sales plans with potential and existing sales partners
- Planning, organization and implementation of b2b and b2c sales activities
- Working closely with Sales Controlling and Revenue Management to set up and implement reporting structures and tracking tools for the DACH market to analyze and monitor the success of all sales activities
- Further development and implementation of the sales strategy, including by means of a clear USP definition and constant market observation
- Management, motivation and further development of a dedicated sales team
- Direct report to the VP Sales & Marketing DACH
What you bring with you
- A degree or training in the fields of tourism, business administration, marketing or communication
- Several years of professional experience in sales or key account management in a tourism environment - ideally with a tour operator or travel agency organization
- Comprehensive understanding of the tourism market, industry structures and a strong network in the tourism industry
- Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking paired with a hands-on mentality, the ability to work in a team and a high level of customer orientation
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and a confident manner towards internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical skills, in-depth understanding of figures and experience in managing complex projects
- Experience in leading and developing teams and proven sales success
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English and proficient in MS Office applications
