Junior Sales Manager Tourism (f/m/d)

We are now launching an exciting start-up project in which we are building a new travel brand in the leisure and adventure travel sector: GLOBEROCKER - Everything Else Is Vacation.
And we are looking for you: a committed personality with an innovative spirit who will work with us to build this brand and take responsibility from the very beginning.
Our new brand
GLOBEROCKER is the new travel brand for young adults looking for adventures off the beaten track, in small groups, with like-minded people from all over the world. We stand for real experiences - trips that make history. GLOBEROCKER is not a classic tour operator, but a brand for everyone who loves canyons, mountains, (urban) jungles and adventure. Digital, flexible, inspiring.
Your mission
You are the face of GLOBEROCKER for our customers and turn wanderlust into actual bookings. As part of the sales team, you'll advise travel enthusiasts on their search for the next big adventure and turn leads into enthusiastic GLOBEROCKERS. Specifically, this means:
- Individual advice by phone, video calls, email, WhatsApp & chat
- Supporting prospective customers from initial contact to booking
- Follow-up of leads, e.g. from campaigns, trade fairs or information events
- Active sales of our trips including upselling of additional services
- Organizing (online) information events, consultation appointments & occasional on-site events
- Maintenance and further development of our CRM system
- Working closely with the marketing team to qualify leads
- Passing on feedback to optimize our travel offers and processes
- Collaboration on new sales strategies, e.g. campus promos or ambassador programs
What you bring with you
- First experience in sales, travel consulting or customer service - ideally in tourism
- A passion for travel & a desire to inspire young people for adventure
- You communicate empathetically, purposefully and with a twinkle in your eye
- Independent, structured way of working and team spirit
- German at native speaker level, good English
- Confident in using digital tools (CRM, video calls, email, chat, etc.)
