Permanent position - Full-time - Headquarter Munich

Description

As a Key Account Manager at Holiday Extras, you will be responsible for developing key HX partnerships within the travel industry by building strong, long-term relationships. You will take care of the support and targeted expansion of our sales partners for our products (especially tour operators, OTAs, online travel agencies and travel agencies)

You look for growth and development opportunities within your clients to ensure compliance with the overall sales budget and strive to outperform on key KPIs. You represent HX more than anyone else in the industry and convey our culture and values.

These tasks await you with us:

  • You will act as the contact person for all our sales channels and partners
  • You are always on the ball and promote the further development of a sustainable sales model.
  • You will independently manage and supervise projects assigned to you in Germany, as well as projects with our colleagues in England, and will be responsible for the implementation of these projects.
  • You never lose touch with key partners by keeping in regular contact with them while providing performance reports for partners to drive growth. You will use your knowledge of the industry, products, sales and their marketing capabilities to expand and develop the partnership.
  • This also includes reporting, evaluating and implementing appropriate sales measures to optimize performance.
  • With a passion for sales, your affinity for technical connections and your high level of technical understanding, you will also acquire new partnerships, continuously develop them further and optimize the conditions (e.g. commissions and marketing plans as well as online interfaces (e.g. API or white label). You create and test customer connections and always receive support from the team!
  • You demonstrate integrity and develop a high level of trust to ensure lasting and productive relationships.
  • You will have excellent professional presentation and communication skills and be able to convey the HX brand and culture at industry events.

What you bring with you:

  • Experience in tourism sales; preferably also online sales
  • You have excellent networking skills and take every opportunity to talk about Holiday Extras' business.
  • You are a strong negotiator, experienced in negotiations and have excellent commercial acumen.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of budgets, KPIs and trade forecasting.
  • You are an open-minded individual who loves new experiences and has no problem approaching people proactively.
  • Goal-oriented work is easy for you.
  • Reliability and an independent, committed way of working are among your strengths.
  • You also have a fluent, business fluent command of German and a very good command of written and spoken English.
  • very good knowledge of all common MS Office programs and CRS systems and preferably the use of Apple MAC and Salesforce (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30 %)
  • Driving license and car an advantage
