WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Operational management and oversight of concessionaires and the onboard atelier aboard the Mein Schiff fleet
- Strategic development of the concessionaire areas and the onboard atelier, as well as the implementation of new business areas in connection with new ship construction and dry-dock periods, including the preparation of business cases
- Evaluation, initiation, execution, and acceptance of projects such as renovations carried out by the concessionaires and the onboard atelier
- Onboarding new concessionaires, including coordination regarding the design of the spaces, the product range, billing terms, etc.
- Conducting research based on market observations (trends, benchmarking, etc.) to evaluate new business areas and potential (collaborative) partners
- Conceptualization, initiation, and coordination of product enhancements and process optimizations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in business administration and experience in business development or product management
- Experience aboard a cruise ship is a plus, but not required
- Independent, self-directed, and entrepreneurial thinking and action
- Strong communication skills and a keen understanding of numbers
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite
- The ability to work well in a team, organizational skills, resilience, and a willingness to travel round out your profile
