Product Manager / Booking Specialist
The Product Manager is responsible for the tour operator product as well as the bookings for the respective destination and ensures continuous product optimization

You are responsible for
Product selection / presentation
- Ensuring the correct product selection and description in the booking system
- Development for new, demand-relevant products
- correct creation of self-purchased products in the system
- Contact person for all product-specific questions as the person responsible for the destination
Booking support
- Booking support for sales (quality assurance after booking by the travel agency)
- Independent execution of the booking in the system on the basis of sales specifications (by telephone or e-mail)
- Sales support for all booking-related topics
Analysis and planning
- Participation in destination planning
- continuous monitoring of destination development and development / initiation of measures
- continuous competitor analysis and development / initiation of measures
Communication & support
- Interface to the parent company in Italy
- (product, crisis, processing issues, documents, accounting…), travel agency sales and Naar Germany
- Service provider support and WKZ acquisition
What you bring with you:
- completed vocational training in tourism and several years of professional experience in the travel agency or tour operator sector (purchasing/calculation/destination or service team)
- very good destination knowledge (long-distance travel) required
- high motivation and enthusiasm to establish a new tour operator product in Germany
- strong service and consulting orientation to realize travel bookings
- Team-oriented and conscientious work, flexibility, resilience and reliability
- Good flight knowledge (Amadeus Selling Platform / Ticketing etc.) an advantage
- MS Office knowledge
- German & English fluent, Italian advantageous
- Existing network in the travel agency landscape an advantage
