As Product Manager (m/f/d) - focus on round trips and cruises at Reisen Aktuell GmbH, you will actively manage and develop our tourism product portfolio in these types of travel. You combine data-based analyses with a good feel for target groups and markets and ensure that our offers are used optimally via print and online media. You keep an eye on the performance of your products at all times and continuously develop them further. With us, you play an active role in deciding which travel offers are marketed when and how - and see the direct impact of your decisions on the success of our products.
Your tasks
- Planning, managing and developing travel products in the area of round trips and/or cruises across print and online sales channels - taking into account target groups, profitability and performance
- Analyzing booking developments, availability as well as market and booking trends; deriving well-founded decisions regarding product use, timing and sales channels based on relevant market and target group analyses
- Identifying potential within the product areas and continuously developing existing offers and destinations in close cooperation with purchasing, marketing and other specialist departments
- Active participation in the optimization of the product portfolio by deriving well-founded impulses from marketing and performance
- Cross-divisional cooperation to ensure a coordinated product and marketing strategy
- Managing products on the basis of relevant KPIs, taking budgets and sales targets into account
Your profile
- Degree in tourism, business or marketing or a comparable qualification
- At least two years of professional experience, ideally in tourism and/or product management
- Initial experience in the field of round trips and/or cruises is an advantage
- Experience in the management and further development of products or portfolios
- Strong analytical thinking skills and a very good understanding of numbers; confident in using Excel and data-based evaluations
- Economic thinking, good understanding of KPIs and a flair for performance management
- Structured, independent way of working and the ability to proactively drive issues forward
- Strong communication skills and enjoy cross-departmental collaboration
- Very good written and spoken German skills
