Your tasks
Portfolio planning/product development
- Implementation and further development of the portfolio strategy
- Analyzing and evaluating procurement channels and production models
- Securing procurement orders for the identified products with corresponding purchasing briefings to the responsible purchasing units
- Market and competition monitoring
- Monitoring the development of margins and sales, including reporting to monitor results
- Coordination of sub-seasonal action planning with Trading
- Maintaining and developing relationship management with strategic target area partners
Catalog production
- Participation in the creation of the page plan in coordination with other PMs, purchasing and product management
- Providing information for catalog production while adhering to the internal schedule
Product processing
- Initial price calculation of the products
- Ensuring bookability in all reservation systems and portals
- Margin and quality control
- Interface to internal departments (service teams, quality management, clearing, content, marketing, accounting, etc.)
Marketing
- Ensuring optimal marketing and sales measures
- Analysis of sales channel performance and initiation of optimization measures
- Provision of information for sales measures, preparation and participation in sales events
Your profile
- Apprenticeship as a tourism clerk, completed technical/university studies an advantage
- 4-5 years of professional experience with a tour operator
- Comprehensive understanding of tourism contexts
- Extensive destination and tourism market knowledge
- Strong analytical skills and a very good understanding of figures
- Technical understanding and very good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- High degree of initiative and responsibility
- Goal-oriented way of working combined with entrepreneurial thinking and good organizational skills
- Quick comprehension and decisiveness
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Ability to work in a team, resilience, assertiveness and flexibility
