As an owner-managed tour operator, we have stood for quality at reasonable prices for our customers since 2010. We employ around 300 colleagues at our company headquarters in Koblenz am Rhein. As a Product Planner / Product Manager (m/f/d) at Reisen Aktuell GmbH, you will actively shape the strategic management and further development of our tourism product portfolio. You combine data-based analyses with a keen sense for target groups and markets and are responsible for the optimal marketing of our travel offers via print and online media. You keep an eye on the performance of your products at all times and continuously develop them further.
Your tasks
- Planning, managing and developing our travel products across all relevant sales channels - with a focus on target groups, profitability and performance
- Analyzing booking developments, supply situations, capacities, price levels and market trends and deriving specific optimization measures
- Identification of market potential and continuous further development of existing products and tourist regions
- Observation of target group needs, competitive offers and current trends for the further development and management of your own product area
- Working closely with purchasing, marketing and other specialist departments and actively contributing your own ideas and perspectives
- Participation in the design and optimization of our offers in coordination with tourism partners
- Managing products on the basis of relevant KPIs and continuously monitoring budgets and sales
Your profile
- You have a degree in tourism, business or marketing or a comparable qualification
- You have at least 2 years of professional experience - ideally in tourism and/or product management
- Experience in sales as well as in the active support and strategic expansion of key accounts
- Strong communication skills, negotiating skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with tourism partners
- Very good understanding of marketing in tourism, both online and offline
- Confident Excel skills and enjoy number-based analysis and strategic planning
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as very good written and spoken German skills
