WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- You actively support the travel agencies in the zip code areas 54-56, 65-69 & 75-77 and ensure that their concerns and questions are dealt with professionally
- You conduct annual meetings with the sales partners, set joint targets and plan sales promotion measures to boost sales
- You are responsible for the budget and sales for your area and ensure that the defined targets are achieved
- You are responsible for establishing and expanding new sales channels/partners and for actively selling group tours (e.g. through market analyses, research work, telephone acquisition)
- You will work closely with the trade marketing team by creating briefings and presentations for the implementation of sales promotion measures
- You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating sales trends, preparing management reports and maintaining all relevant systems and databases
- You organize and conduct face-to-face and online training courses/webinars to provide our sales partners with the best possible support and accompany seminar trips and ship tours
- Trade fair appearances and the organization of sales partners fall within your area of responsibility in order to increase the visibility of our brand and promote sales
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have completed a tourism apprenticeship or a degree in the field of tourism
- You have several years of experience in a tourism company (ideally with a travel agency, tour operator or cruise company)
- You see yourself as a communication and sales talent, have a convincing appearance and enjoy conducting training courses and presentations
- A sales and service-oriented way of working is a matter of course for you and you can use your negotiating skills effectively
- Very good knowledge of English and MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) round off your profile
- You have the willingness to travel
- You live either in Hamburg or in the south-west region (Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg)
