Our client is one of the leading organizers of adventure and study tours and has been offering cultural and individual access to the most beautiful travel destinations worldwide for over 45 years. To strengthen the service team, we are looking for you as Team Leader Service (m/f/d) in Kiel.

The tasks

  • Scheduling and task planning, taking into account the qualifications and fair workload of employees
  • Ensuring customer-oriented and at the same time economically efficient service provision, including the creation, maintenance and further development of internal workflows and guidelines
  • Collecting, analysing, visualizing and using relevant data to continuously optimize processes and service quality
  • Conception and implementation of communication coaching, training and guidelines for a target group-oriented customer approach
  • Responsibility for after-sales processes: additional services, upselling and proactive customer information between booking and processing
  • Management of crisis and emergency processing
  • Analysis and further development of technical systems (e.g. e-mail, telephone, chat)
  • Interface function to other departments and active co-design of cross-departmental processes
  • Support and representation of the Operations team leader

Your qualifications

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by a degree or a degree from a university of applied sciences
  • You have experience in customer contact or in organizational processes - ideally in a tourism environment - and have initial management experience or want to lead a team
  • You are technically adept and confident in dealing with digital consulting processes and spreadsheets
  • You find the right language for different customer groups, know how to address specific target groups (including Sinus-Milieus) and are confident in coaching and developing your employees in the area of communication
  • You lead your team in an empathetic, clear and structured manner, provide impetus for further development and create a motivating working atmosphere
  • You make decisions confidently and responsibly - even in challenging situations such as goodwill cases, crises or emergencies
  • You have very good written and spoken German and basic English skills
