Tourism Manager (m/f/d)
We are looking for YOU as a Tourism Manager with a focus on data quality management, sustainability and service quality!
In this position, you will be responsible for the strategic control of data quality management to ensure that our tourism information is always up-to-date and of the highest quality.
Another central focus of your work is the further development and implementation of the sustainability strategy in tourism in our region. Among other things, you will manage the TourCert project “Sustainable Destination” and coordinate new measures and projects closely with our member municipalities and partners in order to make the region even more sustainable and future-proof.
You will also manage the service quality management process, carry out DTV classifications and evaluate tourism statistics. You will also support us in the implementation of projects and measures and play an active role in various committees.

About us
The Siegen-Wittgenstein Tourist Association (TVSW), based in Siegen, is a destination management organization (DMO) responsible for regional tourism development and regional tourism marketing in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district. Our tasks include tourism quality management, tourism data and content management as well as sustainable product and offer development.
Your tasks
- Strategic control of data quality management
- Further development and implementation of the sustainability strategy in tourism in Siegen-Wittgenstein and management of the “Sustainable Destination” project
- Conception and implementation of new measures and projects in coordination with the member municipalities
- Control of service quality management
- Implementation and follow-up of DTV classifications
- Analysis of tourism statistics and market research
- Committee work
What you need
- A degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in a tourism-related field (e.g. tourism management, leisure, culture or event management)
- An affinity for digitalization topics, initial experience in working with databases and ideally knowledge of open data
- Excellent communication skills, a willingness to innovate and a strong organizational talent
- An affinity for numbers and a good mathematical and analytical understanding
- Initial experience in energy, environmental and sustainability management
- Flexibility, creativity and a high degree of independence and a sense of responsibility

- A job initially limited to 39 hours per week until December 31, 2026, based on the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD-VKA), pay group 11
