Tourismus Initiative München (TIM) e.V. is the association of Munich's tourism industry, consisting of around 200 tourism service providers, and is the only cross-sector network representing all major companies in Munich tourism, such as BMW Welt, Munich Airport and the Olympic Park, leading restaurants and hotels, representatives of the retail trade and companies from the congress and cultural industries. We are a mouthpiece and community for knowledge transfer, innovation and cooperation, support the City of Munich as a strong, independent partner through our technical expertise and participation in the Tourism Fund and assist the service providers in TIM in the design of travel services. Since 2012, the cooperation with our partner München Tourismus, the tourism institution of the City of Munich, has stood for innovation in tourism marketing and for the future of the city as a prospering tourism metropolis in the so-called Munich Model.

TIM e.V. is expanding its remit and taking over product management for tourism services in Munich. The aim is to create a sustainable experience of the Munich tourism brand through product management and to achieve top performance.

For the implementation, TIM e.V. is looking for a committed

Tourism Product Manager (m/f/d) part-time (20 hours per week)


  • Advising service providers on the optimization and relaunch of tourism products using the brand rules and strategic goals
  • Developing "operating instructions" for service providers to help them optimize the product in the best possible way for the Munich brand
  • Developing decision-ready implementation proposals for the brand steering committee
  • Active interface management with stakeholder management and the marketing department at Munich Tourism
  • Analysis of all relevant contact points of the brand (continuous)
  • Planning and management of projects as a driving force and responsibility for achieving defined goals

Profile - You will fit in particularly well with us if you have initial experience in the following areas:

  • Brand management
  • Tourism product management
  • Project management and budgeting
  • Stakeholder management
  • Market and trend research, innovation management
