THIS IS YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION
You love the world of business travel—so do we! As New Yorker’s travel agency, we organize trips worldwide—from hotels and flights to visas—and serve as the reliable point of contact for our NEW YORKER employees.
- Organizing global business trips, including booking hotels, flights, train tickets, rental cars, and transfers
- Point of contact for national and international NEW YORKER employees regarding business travel arrangements
- Ensuring compliance with applicable travel policies
- Compilation of travel documents, including visa applications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You have completed an apprenticeship as a tourism specialist, travel agent, or hold a comparable qualification. A career change with experience in the hospitality industry or in a customer-oriented travel role is also possible
- Initial experience in business travel or travel planning is a plus, but not required
- You have already gained experience with common reservation or booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, IATA, Deutsche Bahn, hotel or flight portals); if you do not yet have this experience, you can learn it with us
- You are proficient in using MS Office and are well-versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- You have strong communication skills and very good German and good English language skills
- A passion for customer service, team spirit, and a hands-on attitude are highly valued
