Responsibilities:
- Acquisition, support, and development of national and international travel agency partners, chains, and partnerships
- Drafting agency contracts and monitoring KPIs in the area of travel agency sales
- Developing and implementing sales promotion measures at the counter
- Point of contact for all questions regarding booked river cruises via the Trade Support Hotline and email
- Maintaining customer and agency master data in the back-office system
- Creating and modifying bookings
- Organizing and participating in trade shows, familiarization trips, roadshows, and customer events
- Conducting product presentations, webinars, and training sessions
- Collaborating in a variety of ways with other departments and external partners
Requirements:
- Completed training in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry
- Ideally, professional experience in the tourism sector and in cruise sales
- Strong communication skills and excellent written and spoken German and English; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus
- Outgoing personality, ability to work well in a team, and a strong commitment to customer service
- An independent and structured approach to work
- Proficiency in MS Office; ideally, also in common reservation systems
