Do you enjoy being a host, organizational talent and mood creator all in one? Then come on board and become a cruise director (m/f/d) - the central contact person for our guests and the heart of every trip. You'll ensure that everything runs smoothly, guide guests through the day with charm and create unforgettable vacation experiences - at sea and on land.
Your tasks
- You are the first point of contact for our guests and represent our brand both on board and during shore excursions.
- You plan varied excursions, coordinate the processes and ensure smooth implementation.
- You coordinate the entire travel process, monitor service and product quality and deal directly with any complaints.
- You actively promote the sale of excursions and additional packages and impress with your advisory and sales skills.
- You plan the daily on-board program, moderate info talks and announcements and take on small entertainment moderations if required.
- You will work closely with the captain, the hotel manager, the crew and our head office in Koblenz to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

You will accompany selected excursions, provide exciting insights into the country and its people and ensure unforgettable experiences.
What you bring with you
- Completed tourism training or a degree in tourism as well as several years of experience as a tour guide - ideally supplemented by initial ship experience.
- Very good knowledge of German at native speaker level and business fluent English; other European languages are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, accuracy and initiative as well as a solution-oriented way of working.
- A high degree of empathy, communication skills and conflict resolution paired with customer and team orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and creativity - and the ability to coordinate and delegate tasks with confidence.
- A class B driving license and proficiency in the use of common MS Office programs
