The joint venture of TUI AG and the US cruise group Royal Caribbean Group Ltd. employs around 750 people in Hamburg and Berlin and operates 11 cruise ships. The 6 ships in the Mein Schiff® fleet offer contemporary vacations at sea in the premium segment. The traditional brand Hapag-Lloyd Cruises stands for luxury and expedition cruises with 5 ships.

The company already has one of the most modern, environmentally and climate-friendly cruise fleets in the world. As part of its sustainable growth, three more new ships are planned by 2026.

TUI Cruises GmbH is looking for a new position in Hamburg as soon as possible:

Head of Sales DACH (all gender) for the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises brand


  • Disciplinary management and continuous development of the sales team for the DACH region
  • Development, planning and implementation of sales measures with travel agencies and partners in the DACH region
  • Support of key account partners in German-speaking countries as well as agreement and follow-up of cross-chain marketing measures & target agreements
  • Creation of briefings and coordination with internal interfaces (in particular marketing, trade marketing, key account management, product management)
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and other sales partners
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and developing cooperation partners in the DACH region
  • Preparation, organization and implementation of events, trade fairs and events
  • Regular B2B/B2C communication (creation of offer media, newsletters, etc.)
  • Identification of agencies with potential for support and promotion by the teams
  • Handling advertising cost subsidies (WKZ) with corresponding invoice and budget control
  • Reporting and maintenance of relevant systems and databases / documentation
  • Conducting (digital, remote) training courses and presentations with and at travel agency partners
  • Conducting seminar trips, ship tours, product launch trips, etc.


  • Completed studies with a focus on business administration, marketing and/or tourism an advantage
  • Multi-year professional experience in sales; experience in the luxury cruise segment an advantage
  • Multi-year leadership experience paired with modern people management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the DACH travel market and an established network in the industry
  • Opportunity-oriented personality with management qualities and the ability to inspire people
  • High customer orientation, negotiating skills and strong closing skills
  • Very good communication skills, inspiring demeanor and diplomatic assertiveness
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills as well as very good MS Office application skills
  • Willingness to travel and class B driving license
