Creative and communicative manager wanted for the Bad Herrenalb public baths!
Bad Herrenalb, idyllically situated in the northern Black Forest, is known for its picturesque nature and as a place of relaxation. In addition to the outdoor forest pool, the Siebentäler Therme is a particular highlight. Both baths are part of Stadtwerke Bad Herrenalb GmbH.
The thermal baths in particular, which opened in 1971, play a key role in tourism and the town’s quality of life. over 100,000 guests visited it in 2023. The thermal baths are currently being extensively renovated at a cost of around 16.8 million euros – an investment that offers great opportunities. With state-of-the-art technology, an expanded range of facilities and a new outdoor pool, the thermal spa is set to gain further appeal as a “beacon for the region”.

Management
Thermal baths and outdoor pool (f/m/d)
Stadtwerke Bad Herrenalb GmbH, Baden-Württemberg (AT contract)
In this role, you will be responsible for the management of both the Siebentäler Therme and the Waldfreibad and report to the Supervisory Board of Stadtwerke Bad Herrenalb GmbH.
YOUR CORE TASKS
- Efficient management of operational processes and future-oriented strategic development of the pools, including financial responsibility
- Professional support for the renovation of the Siebentäler Therme with the aim of reopening in summer 2026
- Motivating management of around 30 employees
- Implementation of new and innovative marketing strategies, also taking into account the town marketing of Bad Herrenalb
- Trusting and constructive cooperation with the managing director of the municipal utilities and the municipal committees
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed studies, e.g. in the field of business administration, tourism or sports management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional and management experience in the service sector, ideally in the leisure, tourism or pool sector
- Proven business management knowledge and experience
- A high degree of resilience and a confident manner both internally and externally
