As a renowned coach tour operator, we create a sophisticated, year-round travel program that we market via our catalogs and our homepage. In the course of this development, we are looking for reinforcement in the area of hotel purchasing and the production of travel catalogs. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating with established and new hotel partners and developing and describing our travel programs in order to provide our many regular customers with a consistently top travel offer. You will negotiate additional services and put together a unique package for our customers that guarantees them an unforgettable vacation. In the course of quality assurance, you will be close to the action and also get an idea of the hotels on site. This means that you occasionally work where others go on vacation. In our office in Cologne, experienced colleagues will be on hand to provide you with help and advice and ensure that you get the best possible induction.

Ideally, you will have some experience in the tour operator sector and have excellent negotiating skills. You are a team player and your working style is characterized by diligence, adherence to deadlines, creativity and a love of tourism.

Your area of responsibility

  • Developing trips independently, including purchasing hotel and tourist services for the relevant destination
  • Creative text design for the travel catalogs
  • Creation of the calculations
  • Market observation and competitive comparisons
  • Quality control
  • Customer advice

Your profile

  • Commercial training, relevant professional experience in travel planning
  • Negotiation skills and good understanding of figures
  • Enjoy creating texts
  • Solid knowledge of English
  • Sure handling of MS Office and openness to other software programs
  • High degree of conscientiousness, accuracy and diligence
  • Practiced service mindset, positive charisma, enjoy working in a team
  • Love of tourism
