As an owner-managed tour operator, we have stood for quality at reasonable prices for our customers since 2010. We employ around 300 colleagues at our company headquarters in Koblenz am Rhein. As Commercial Manager (Deals) (m/f/d) at Reisen Aktuell GmbH, your focus is clearly on the economic optimization of products that have already been purchased. You will be responsible for the targeted renegotiation and development of special conditions with strong sales potential - always with the aim of increasing margins and accelerating sales.
Importantyou are not responsible for the classic purchase of new hotels, but get the most out of existing partnerships and products. You recognize opportunities, implement deals and actively manage sales-driven measures with a clear focus on profitability.
Your tasks
- Targeted renegotiation of existing products and partnerships with a focus on better purchasing conditions, additional services and sales-promoting measures
- Identifying and implementing short-term, high-margin deals to increase sales and profitability
- Active management and optimization of offers based on clear KPIs such as margin and campaign performance
- Placement and management of products in defined advertising and sales channels (print, online, partner sales) with the aim of maximizing sales impact
- Provision and further development of suitable products for partner sales and close coordination with internal sales units
- Proactive analysis of existing products to identify optimization potential and consistent implementation of suitable measures and renegotiations
- Close cooperation with purchasing / product management, marketing and sales - with a clear focus on efficiency and measurable results
Your profile
- Completed studies in the field of business, tourism or comparable training
- You already have several years of professional experience in purchasing, sales or in a performance-oriented commercial role (e.g. yield, pricing, revenue or deals)
- You are characterized by strong negotiating skills and assertiveness, combined with a clear ambition to get the most out of the business
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a high affinity for numbers are among your strengths - as is a strong understanding of business administration with a focus on margins and profitability
- You combine a structured and independent way of working with a high speed of implementation - you are pragmatic, hands-on and solution-oriented
- You have a confident manner and strong communication skills and are convincing when dealing with external partners
- Very good written and spoken German and sound knowledge of Excel round off your profile
