TUI Cruises GmbH is one of the leading cruise operators in the German-speaking world. The joint venture between TUI AG and the US cruise company Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. employs around 750 people in Hamburg and Berlin. On board the ships, 136 positions are managed directly by TUI Cruises GmbH. A fleet of seven ships sails for the Mein Schiff® brand. Since the end of 2020, the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises brand has also been part of TUI Cruises GmbH with a fleet of currently five ships. The Mein Schiff® fleet offers contemporary vacation cruises at sea in the premium segment (Mein Schiff 1 to Mein Schiff 7). Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is the leading luxury and expedition cruise brand in the German-speaking world with a 130-year history. (MS EUROPA, MS EUROPA 2 & HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC inspiration and HANSEATIC spirit).
TUI Cruises operates one of the most modern, environmentally and climate-friendly fleets in the world. In the course of sustainable growth, two more new ships are planned by 2026.

Communications Manager (all gender) with focus on internal communications
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Developing and implementing internal communication strategies: You design concepts to inform employees about company developments, projects and initiatives
- Designing and maintaining internal communication channels: You look after our existing channels such as the intranet, newsletter, email communication and digital platforms and optimize their use
- Analyzing and developing existing communication formats: You evaluate current formats and channels and adapt them to the changing needs of the company and employees
- Developing new communication formats: You are responsible for designing and implementing new innovative formats that promote exchange and collaboration
- Working closely with internal stakeholders: You will ensure consistent and transparent communication across all departments by working closely with managers and other internal partners
- Supporting change processes: You support management and executives in the effective communication of corporate strategies and change processes
- Monitoring and analysis: you measure the effectiveness of internal communication measures and develop continuous improvement proposals
- Internal events and campaigns: You plan and execute internal events and communication campaigns, including strategic planning and budget control
- Promoting employee engagement: You develop measures to increase employee engagement and promote company values
- Utilizing new technologies: You implement modern tools and platforms to further improve digital communication and collaboration (e.g. social intranet, video communication)
- Crisis communication: You develop crisis communication plans to minimize internal and external disruptions and keep the workforce continuously informed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or a comparable subject area
- Several years of professional experience (at least 2-5 years) in internal communications
- Excellent editorial skills in writing and editing texts, as well as experience in successfully implementing internal communication activities and supporting change processes
- A flair for topics and their implementation in various formats such as text, images and video and a strong ability to convey complex information clearly, concisely and in a way that is appropriate for the target group.
- Knowledge of various communication techniques and channels, such as emails, newsletters, intranet, video communication, social media and virtual events.
- Ability to communicate with different departments, managers and international teams at all levels.
- Experienced in using modern digital tools for internal communication (e.g. Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Zoom).
- Use of digital platforms to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration between employees and understanding of social collaboration tools and their role in increasing employee engagement and productivity.
- Ability to consider cultural differences in communication and ensure inclusive communication.
- Structured, analytical way of working with high resilience and empathy
- Team player with the ability to foster collaborative relationships within and outside the organization
- Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
