Clerk in Crisis Management and Target Area Support (m/f/d)

These are your tasks:

  • You are the contact person for our incoming agencies, hotels and customers in the destinations in the event of tourist emergencies such as accidents, deaths, forgotten luggage and other exceptional cases
  • Prevention, processing and follow-up of tourism crisis scenarios (e.g. strikes or natural disasters) are also part of your area of responsibility
  • You will be responsible for supporting our incoming agencies with regard to their public image in the respective vacation destinations (e.g. ordering materials, providing forms for local tour guides or presenting destination information and excursion offers)
  • You support the creation and revision of checklists for typical tourist emergencies
  • You actively support destination monitoring with regard to events that could have an impact on the execution of the trips (e.g. entry regulations, vaccination requirements, political events, extreme weather)</li

What you should bring with you:

  • You have a degree in tourism and have already gained initial experience with a tour operator
  • Understanding of the interrelationships in the tourism service spectrum is a must for this position
  • You have good nerves, are flexible in terms of time (willingness to work regular weekends on the basis of a 5-day week) and enjoy unusual cases? Great!
  • We require very good written and spoken communication skills as well as business fluent English
  • You are willing to get to grips with new software programs and MS Office is not new territory for you
  • Some legal knowledge (travel law) is desirable

Your physical well-being is also taken care of, because we cook delicious lunches. Our kitchen professionals from our canteen - the most frequented department in the building - take care of this.
