Your Responsibilities
As a Tourism Specialist (m/f/d) at our travel agency in Ratingen, you’ll work at a location with high customer traffic due to the adjacent Marktkauf supermarket, yet enjoy a quiet, consultative atmosphere: Our branch has its own entrance and is physically separated from the supermarket operations.
Your Daily Responsibilities
- Advising customers and selling vacation packages worldwide from all major tour operators
- Booking and processing package tours and custom trips using standard travel booking systems
- Actively supporting and fostering long-term loyalty among our customers across all communication channels
- Correspondence with customers, tour operators, and service partners
- Active contribution to the branch’s sales success
Your Qualifications
- Training as a tourism sales representative or a comparable qualification in tourism sales—or, alternatively, several years of professional experience in active travel sales at a travel agency
- Proficient knowledge of tourism booking systems and tour operator products
- Enjoyment of providing personalized advice and making sales A service-oriented demeanor and strong communication skills when interacting with customers
- An independent and structured approach to work
- Interest in tourism trends, travel destinations, and products
