We are hiring as of September 1, 2026:
Tourism Specialist (m/f/d) for customized trips to South America
Your Qualifications:
- Completed training in tourism
- In-depth knowledge of Chile and South America
- Good written and spoken German and Spanish skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Proficiency with the Amadeus Selling Platform Connect flight reservation system
- A collaborative spirit, ability to work in a team, initiative, flexibility, high level of commitment, and resilience
- Strong focus on sales and consulting
- Ability to work independently
- Service-oriented and responsible demeanor
Your Responsibilities:
- Professional planning and sales of customized tours to South America
- Providing professional customer consultations
- Flight bookings via the Amadeus Selling Platform Connect
- Booking travel components (hotels, rental cars, cruises, day trips, etc.)
- Preparation and mailing of travel documents
- Invoicing
- Participation in and consultation at major travel trade shows for end customers (Stuttgart, Hamburg)
- Booking and handling of group travel
- Processing of customer payments via the PAYPLACE system
- Purchasing travel insurance through HanseMerkur’s VERS-on booking portal
- Management and maintenance of our Facebook and Instagram pages
- Contributing to the completion of our new website
- Implementation of new tour operator software

Negotiable
Work hours:
37.5 hours per week (Mon–Fri from 9:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.)
On-site work at the travel agency (no remote work)
