Sales Specialist (m/f/d)
Main tasks
- Maintaining and managing the ongoing cooperation with travel agencies in Germany and Luxembourg through regular visits and continuous contact
- Actively contribute to sales growth, KPIs and commercial results
- Participate in commercial sales initiatives, implement joint sales campaigns with travel agencies and provide operational support
- Conduct market analysis and provide commercial insights on competition and market trends to improve processes, services and commercial offerings
- Plan, prepare and execute sales trips, organize workshops and commercial events; represent Luxair at trade shows and events
- Participate in strategic meetings related to the department and follow up and report on agreed actions
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proven professional experience in the tourism sector
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills
- Confident handling of common IT tools and programs
- Very good knowledge of German and English (oral and written)
- Willingness to travel on business and attend conferences and events
- Driving license is mandatory
Desirable qualifications
- Very good organizational and communication skills
- Structured and careful way of working, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish, French or other foreign languages is an advantage
