WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Your tasks include looking after existing sales partners (travel agency chains and cooperations, OTAs and tour operators) including GSA, establishing and expanding new sales partners and developing sales in foreign source markets
  • You take over the management and further development of a small & experienced team
  • You support the development and implementation of innovative strategies in cooperation with the Sales Director and accompany our sales partners in the consistent expansion of our brand presence
  • You identify and develop new market potential and create the necessary country-specific sales processes and structures for this
  • You plan and implement central sales promotion measures including success monitoring
  • You will take care of regular B2B communication (creation of offer media, newsletters, training materials, etc.)</li
  • You will have budget responsibility and ensure the defined sales targets and advertising budgets
  • You create strategic decision papers for the management based on all market data as well as competitive analyses, KPIs and business plans
  • You plan seminar trips and ship tours as well as conferences or similar formats on board and carry them out

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Completed training or studies in the field of tourism, marketing, communication or business administration
  • Multi-year sales experience in international sales, experience in the luxury cruise segment an advantage
  • First management experience desirable paired with modern people management skills
  • Very good market/competitive knowledge of the source markets and a good network of partners
  • Open to change processes combined with the necessary resilience and implementation strength
  • Affinity for technology and digital sales opportunities as well as good digital sales skills
  • Quick comprehension, good analytical skills and experience in implementing complex tasks
  • High solution orientation and enthusiasm for internal and external relations
  • High level of self-motivation, strong communication and teamwork skills as well as an independent and structured way of working
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English and very good knowledge of common MS Office applications
  • Regular willingness to travel
